What we do

Most clients come to us for the first one. The rest are there when you want them — separately, or joined up.

01

Stages 02 · 04 · 05 — map, consolidate, disclose

Consolidations & Annual Financial Statements

Group consolidations and IFRS statements — prepared, reviewed and filing-ready.

Group consolidations are the part most practices send out, and the part we do most of: eliminations, non-controlling interests, foreign subsidiaries and divisionalised structures, all in-house. On top of that, the complete set from your trial balance — primary statements, notes, accounting policies, directors' report and the full disclosure checklist.

  • IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, plus UK GAAP for UK subsidiaries
  • Consolidations, eliminations, non-controlling interests and multi-tier group structures
  • Foreign currency translation and first-time adoption (IFRS 1)
  • Prior-year restatements and comparative corrections
  • Audit-ready working paper packs handed to your auditor
  • Independent reviews (ISRE 2400) for companies we did not prepare

02

Stage 01 — account

Accounting Services

Your team, or ours. Bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll on a fixed fee.

Day-to-day accounting that produces a trial balance you can actually report from. Monthly management accounts with commentary, payroll processing and statutory submissions, and a clean handover into year-end.

  • Bookkeeping to trial balance
  • Monthly management accounts with commentary
  • Payroll processing, EMP201 and EMP501 submissions
  • Creditors, debtors and cashbook processing
  • Year-end preparation and auditor liaison

03

Stage 01 — account

Payroll Services

Payslips out on time, SARS submissions correct, and a year-end reconciliation that ties.

Payroll is the one deadline that cannot slip: people are paid on a date, and SARS wants the return seven days later. We run the monthly cycle end to end — payslips, EMP201, the statutory deductions — and we reconcile it at year end, so the EMP501 agrees to the payroll, the IRP5s agree to the EMP501, and the wage cost in the annual financial statements agrees to all three.

  • Monthly payroll processing and payslips
  • PAYE, UIF and SDL calculated, with EMP201 submitted
  • EMP501 interim and annual reconciliations, with IRP5 and IT3(a) certificates
  • Engagements, terminations and leave balances maintained
  • Payroll reconciled to the general ledger, so the wage cost in the statements ties

04

Stage 03 — tax

Tax Services

Your team, or ours. Returns, VAT and PAYE, and your computation agreed into the set.

Registration through to assessment. We handle provisional and annual returns, deferred tax computations that agree to the financial statements, and we deal with SARS on your behalf when something goes wrong.

  • Company, trust and individual income tax returns
  • Provisional tax and deferred tax computations
  • VAT and PAYE compliance
  • SARS objections, disputes and verifications
  • Tax structuring for groups and restructures

05

Attaches to any stage

Consulting

Wherever the judgement is hard — IFRS opinions before a journal is passed.

When something is genuinely difficult — a new standard, an acquisition, a complex instrument — we write the technical position, model the numbers and defend the treatment with your auditor.

  • IFRS technical accounting opinions
  • Financial modelling, forecasts and budgets
  • Business combinations and purchase price allocations
  • Due diligence support
  • Finance function reviews and process design

06

Stage 06 — file

Secretarial Services

The stage that closes the year off: CIPC annual returns and the iXBRL filing.

Company secretarial work kept current, so a filing deadline never becomes an emergency. Includes the iXBRL annual financial statement filing that CIPC requires from audited entities.

  • Company registrations and amendments
  • CIPC annual returns and beneficial ownership filings
  • iXBRL financial statement filing (audited entities)
  • Statutory registers and minute books
  • Director and shareholder changes

Every engagement is quoted as a fixed monthly fee.

Tell us the size of the business and what you need, and we will send a written scope and a price — usually within one working day.
